Harvest 2019

During September we supported Watford Food Bank by donating food. Mrs Bastable also spoke to us about the significance about Harvest and why it is important to help others. 

 

MP Richard Harrington’s Assembly. 

On Friday 26th April, MP Richard Harrington, visited our school and spoke about his roles as an MP and the importance of democracy. He was very impressed with the children’s questions and is looking forward to welcoming our school council to the Houses of Parliament in June. 

 

Mayor Peter Taylor’s Assembly

On Wednesday 13th February, the new Mayor, Peter Taylor, visited our school for the first time and was very impressed with our pupil’s knowledge, especially about citizenship. He spoke to the pupils about his role as a Mayor and his plans to further improve Watford. Year 6 have also been invited to the Watford Town Hall in June to learn more about what the council do.
