Our new Sports Reps for this academic year.

We had Sports Day this week and the weather was perfect.  The children took part in a variety of races including skipping, three legged, hurdles and the relay earning points for their house. Emerald house were the winners, well done everyone.

The Sports Reps were invited to Street Child World Cup final which was held at the Lord’s cricket ground.  We had a great day out and enjoyed watching  matches from teams such as: Bangladesh, South India, North India, Tanzania, West Indies, England and Nepal and the team from South India won.

On Friday 15th March we had P.E day and helped raise money for Comic Relief too.  We had an action packed day, there was Game On hockey and handball, Tri golf, table tennis, chair aerobics, HIIT with Joe Wicks, speed stacking and mindfulness colouring.  We also learnt more about Comic Relief can help people all around the world.

The  whole school recently took part in a ‘Skipathon’ to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Sports day was on Thursday 28th June and congratulations to Emerald who won. Everyone did very well and all races were enjoyed. Thank you to parents who came to support, the year five and six sports reps and the year six house captains who helped Miss Morris during the event.

We recently had PE Day which was a huge success with every class taking part several different sports throughout the day.  Game On coaches ran sessions with each class for volleyball and unihoc.  The children also had a go at table tennis, golf, chair aerobics, speed stacking and an obstacle course in the hall.
