Dads in School

Bring dads to school afternoon- Friday 8th February 2019

We had an overwhelming response to our Bring Dads to school afternoon. A total of 115 dads, grandparents, uncles etc participated in a variety of activities, which included painting masks, making Greek temples and listening to children read during our paired reading sessions.

These were some of the comments received about the afternoon:

Taken back to when I was at school and was interesting to see grandchildren at work.

Class attendants, teacher very helpful not to mention the children.

Good to see how the children are learning in school.

It was so special for me because I had a chance to stay with my son for a while.

It was a great insight to how the children learn in class. Also reassuring to know she enjoys class and has good friends.

I’ve always loved these days they are so much fun!
