Online safety
At Chater Junior School, our approach to E-Safety is informed by many different resources and is taught regularly in our Computing lessons as well as being covered in PSHE (see our curriculum page).
We use an online learning platform called Seesaw. This is a private Chater domain and no-one from the public will have access. Please see below for details of how to login in.
In our computing sessions, we cover the following safety principles:
• Self-image and identity• Online Relationships
• Online Reputation
• Online Bullying
• Managing Online information
• Health, well-being and lifestyle
• Privacy and security
• Copyright and ownership
Every year we participate in Safer Internet day and invite parents to attend an information evening about how to keep your child safe online.
